We're so excited to share with you that enrolments have surpassed our expectations as a brand new school. It appears our future parents love our environment and vision as much as we do!
A numbers update: Our baby class is almost full, with 3 out of the 4 spaces filled. We have four toddlers, and four 3-to-6-year-olds enrolled, and counting! That means we have several kiddos in each age group, which enhances their social interaction and potential to make friends.
Open days: We would like to thank all our parents for attending our open days. It has been amazing getting to know you and your families. Our open days for 2022 are now finished, so keep your eyes open for our 2023 open days. Otherwise contact us, we would happily arrange a personal tour.
Our playground: Our all natural playground is well underway! We have added a jungle gym, a toddler and baby swing set, tunnels and hills, an outside washing up basin, a large sandpit and a baby sandpit with benches. We've also added Cooleroo shades that block 96% of harmful UV rays and provide shade for those hot summer days.
Up next: We'll be adding more shading to protect our little ones. The fence will also be going up soon, to keep our little escape artists safe. We're looking for more wooden toddler and baby playground equipment. If you have a great supplier you would like to suggest, let us know! We will also be transforming our bathrooms so our learners can easily access the toilets, potties, and basins.
From the Sutherland Academy team: Thank you for your enthusiasm, your kind words of encouragement, and your trust in us to take your children happily and safely towards their futures. We are so excited to see you all for the first day of school.
